What to look for in Play Place
Play Place now has ordinary and No Power escape badges, and the official pass catalog names Ronald. Players also call this map Playground in video titles.
This guide explains the items and gate interactions narrated in JELLYBOLTS’ September 13 attempt; that attempt ended before a successful escape.
Get past the gate first
The screwdriver and the colored keys serve different parts of the route. Keep both tasks in mind instead of treating every locked object as a key lock.
- Locate the gate and its panel. At 06:38, the reference player finds the door area and notices that a gate blocks access.
- Find a screwdriver. The panel interaction calls for one around 06:50. The recording does not establish a permanent tool location.
- Use the screwdriver at the panel. At 06:57, the player reports the gate opening and the lights going out. Note the way back before completing this interaction, and know your flashlight control.
- Return to the accessible locks. At 07:25, the player uses a green key and reports four more remaining. Confirm what changed at the door before returning to the search.
Keep the key search separate
The opening narration points players toward keys in backpacks. Later in the same attempt, the players mention green, pink and yellow keys and work on individual locks.
Search connected areas, note the color you are carrying and return to its matching lock when you can. In a group, distinguish “I have the key” from “I opened the lock” so that your progress stays clear.
If you have a key but cannot reach the locks, check the gate and panel task. If you can reach the locks, check which colors still remain instead of searching for another screwdriver by default.
Follow the current map on video
The source links jump directly to the panel and lock interactions. There is also a September 12 Playground walkthrough by The Cringe Kids for readers who want a separate video reference.
Use the visible prompts in your current round for item locations and remaining requirements. Fixed screwdriver spawns and a fixed-versus-random key-placement rule have not been verified here.
